Change of Ownership for FX Business Centre

5/7/2022

The FX Business Centre commenced trading in 1987 and has become the leading supplier of Managed Print and Document Workflow Solutions on the South Coast & Monaro Region of NSW. After more than 34 years at the helm of the FX Business Centre, Bill and Maree are pleased to announce that our award winning FUJIFILM Dealership has been sold to Angelo.

The business remains in great hands. Angelo has over 30 Years in the Industry with 14 of those as the Dealer Principal of the FUJIFILM Dealership in Wollongong. We are delighted to be passing on the business to such an experienced operator and of course this transaction has the full support of FUJIFILM Business Innovation (Formerly Fuji Xerox).

So what does this mean for our Customers?

Actually, very little will change. Our fantastic team, all of whom have been with us for many years, will all continue in their current roles. Our head office in Batemans Bay will continue to trade from the same address and all phone numbers and email addresses will remain unchanged. The business will continue to trade as the FX Business Centre, however the corporate entity will change from Kizweb Pty Ltd to The Document Services Pty Ltd.

To ensure the continued supply of Consumables and Service our Customer's trading account's and Support Agreement's have automatically transferred to this new entity as of 1st July 2022 with all terms remaining unchanged.

Angelo and his family will be relocating to Batemans Bay in July and he is looking forward to meeting all of our valued customers.

We would like to thank you for your continued support over the past 34 years and will of course remain in this beautiful part of the world through our retirement. We look forward to continuing the social interaction with our many business friends.

Kind regards,
Bill and Maree

Merry Christmas

22/12/2021

COVID-19 Operating Update

16/8/2021

A quick update to reassure you, our valued customers, that the FX Business Centre as a key provider to government agencies, medical practices and other essential service organisations, are currently operating and servicing all of our customers on the South Coast & Monaro region.

In line with the current NSW government public health orders, our showroom/retail shopfront in Batemans Bay is closed to public browsing. It is still open for 'click and collect' of consumable orders for customers who normally pick up stock from our office.

Most of out team are working remotely which may cause some delays in answering phone calls. We encourage you to log service calls and place consumable orders online via our website here.

We have also reached out to our key couriers and transport providers who have advised us that they are still operational so we don't anticipate any disruption to delivery of equipment or supplies to customers.

Obviously the situation is fluid and we’ll continue to adapt to and comply with any future government directions and best practices.

What we are doing in response to COVID-19

We continue to take special precautions and adhere to strict protocols in relation to our operations in order to maintain the health and safety of our staff and customers. These include;
  • Onsite Servicing/Installations – We have postponed non urgent interim maintenance calls. Normal customer request service calls and machine installations are being actioned as normal. However, we are making increased use of phone and remote support tools to resolve service issues. When logging a service call, our staff will ask questions pertaining to the status of your site in order to ensure it is safe for our service engineers to attend. Where our service engineers are required to attend onsite as the issue cannot be resolved remotely, they will work within any reasonable site specific special hygiene or social distancing procedures that you may have established for your workplace. Our service engineers will also wear masks onsite. We ask, that in return, your staff in the same office space where the service engineer is working also wear masks whilst they are onsite. Additionally, we have issued our service engineers with hand sanitiser, gloves and disinfectant spray to use at their discretion.
  • Consumable Supply – FUJIFILM Business Innovation (Fuji Xerox) have advised that the manufacturing of toner and other consumables is continuing as normal and expect to be able to maintain a stable supply of these items for customer use going forward. For monitored customers, we are continuing to monitor and automatically dispatch consumables as required. To ensure all customers have the supplies they need to continue business as usual, we are equitably distributing toner and will not be allowing stockpiling.
  • Our Office – If you are displaying any COVID-19 or flu like symptoms, have been in a hotspot area or exposure site recently or have been in contact with a confirmed case, we request that you do not enter our premises. Additionally, we require that all visitors to our office check in via QR code, wear a mask and hand sanitize.

How you can help us support you in this crisis

In order to support our customers, we ask you to notify us of any risks to our staff attending your site to support you. These risks include if you have anyone onsite who is displaying COVID-19 or flu like symptoms, has been in a hotspot area or exposure site recently or has been in contact with a confirmed case. All customers are reminded of their WHS obligations to notify of potential hazards in their workplace.

Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding during these challenging times. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to Contact Us.

Fuji Xerox Australia rebrands from April 1

15/3/2021

As the Authorised Dealer for Fuji Xerox Australia for the South Coast and Monaro Region of NSW, we have some exciting news to share about upcoming changes.

From April 1, 2021 Fuji Xerox Australia will be changing its name to FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia. Other Fuji Xerox affiliates and sales companies across the Asia Pacific including Japan will also change their names respectively from April 2021.

The new name represents Fuji Xerox’s commitment as part of the Fujifilm Group―which promotes “Value from Innovation” as its corporate slogan―to expand into a wide range of business areas going forward and to always continue delivering business innovations.

We are pleased to share that we will continue to be an Authorised Dealer and this change will have no impact on the services, products and support we provide for you today. We will continue to deliver all products, services and support currently included in your agreement, as well as provide service, support and consumables for your current devices.

From April 1 we will begin to showcase a new Authorised Dealer logo within our business, including on our signage, service vehicles and website. Overtime you will also notice a change to our brochures, multifunction device and printer badges and all advertising and marketing materials.

Whilst the Fuji Xerox name and logo are changing, there will be no change to our company name ‘FX Business Centre’ or logo come April 1. Our website www.fxbusiness.com.au and other contact details will also remain the same.

For more information, check out Fuji Xerox’s FAQ page or Contact Us directly.

COVID-19 Update

27/3/2020

A quick update to reassure you, our valued customers, that the FX Business Centre as a key provider to government agencies, medical practices and other essential service organisations, are currently operating and servicing all of our customers on the South Coast & Monaro region.

Obviously the situation is fluid and we’ll continue to adapt to and comply with any future government directions and best practices.

What we are doing in response to COVID-19:

We are taking special precautions and have introduced strict protocols to our operations in order to maintain the health and safety of our staff and customers. These include;

  • Onsite Servicing – We are postponing non urgent interim maintenance calls. Normal customer request service calls are being actioned as normal. However, we are making increased use of phone and remote support tools to resolve service issues. Where our service engineers are required to attend onsite as the issue cannot be resolved remotely, they will work within any reasonable site specific special hygiene or social distancing procedures that you may have established for your workplace. Additionally, we have issued our service engineers with hand sanitiser, gloves, masks and disinfectant spray to use at their discretion.
  • Machine Installations – In order to minimise the social contact associated with installing a machine, we are transitioning to more of a delivery style model of operations. What this means in practice is that we will be gathering technical info remotely prior to install/delivery and pre-programing machines so they are more ‘plug and play’. We will also be avoiding physically installing print drivers on individual users PC’s and doing face to face key operator training where possible and will instead be doing these tasks remotely post install/delivery.
  • Consumable Supply – Fuji Xerox have advised that the manufacturing of toner and other consumables is continuing and expect to be able to maintain a stable supply of these items for customer use going forward. For monitored customers, we are continuing to monitor and automatically dispatch consumables as required. To ensure all customers have the supplies they need to continue business as usual, we are equitably distributing toner and will not be allowing stockpiling.
  • Our Office – In order to ensure continuity of business, most of our staff are now working/based from home. We are also limiting visitor access to our office. If you have been overseas in the last 14 days, have been in contact with a confirmed case or are displaying any of the coronavirus symptoms, we request that you do not enter our premises. We are also asking all permitted visitors to use the provided hand sanitiser upon arrival.

How you can help us support you during this crisis:

In order to support our customers, we ask you to notify us of any risks to our staff attending your site to support you. These risks include if you have anyone onsite who has been overseas in the last 14 days, has been in contact with a confirmed case or who is displaying any of the coronavirus symptoms. All customers are reminded of their WHS obligations to notify of potential hazards in their workplace.

Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding during these challenging times. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to Contact Us.

Bushfire Trading Update 08/01/20 – FX Business Centre is fully operational

8/1/2020

Grid electricity and NBN internet access have been restored to our Batemans Bay office. Key transport links have been re-opened but access to some areas is still limited due to local road closures. We will attend onsite service calls where we are able and it is safe to do so. We are keenly aware that the bushfire crisis is ongoing and road access is dependent on future conditions in this continually evolving situation. If your business has been impacted by the bushfires, please reach out to us if you require any assistance.

Bushfire Trading Update 06/01/20

6/1/2020

Our staff are safe. Our Batemans Bay office is still without mains electricity or NBN internet access. We have procured a small generator which has allowed us to restore power to key systems. Our phone system is operating via 3G so we do have basic telecommunications capability at the moment but this may be intermittent. We can be reached via phone on our normal number 02 4472 7199 or via email [email protected] during normal business hours. Due to the multitude of road closures our ability to provide onsite service and send out toners and other stock is currently limited but we will endeavour to provide it where it is safe to do so. Where we don’t have physical access we will try to assist remotely or over the phone to the best of our ability. We are prioritising support calls for emergency services, essential service providers and customers that have been impacted by these devastating bushfires. From all the team at the FX Business Centre we hope you are staying safe and if there is anything we can do to assist please get in touch.
